La TIEP è un'organizzazione no-profit aperta ad Austin, in Texas, nel 1965. La TIEP offre il programma Pathway dell'Università del Texas agli studenti che cercano una rigorosa esperienza preparatoria. Il programma è pensato per studenti con un livello intermedio o superiore e prevede cinque sessioni di 7 settimane all'anno. Venti università e college del Texas concedono l'ammissione condizionale ai loro campus per studenti universitari internazionali che frequentano la TIEP. Ventiquattro università e college del Texas non richiedono il TOEFL e l'IELTS agli studenti della TIEP iscritti al livello 150 o al livello 160.

Sono inoltre disponibili programmi personalizzati per gruppi, lezioni private e corsi di preparazione al TOEFL. Gli insegnanti della TIEP sono professionisti esperti con master o dottorati di ricerca. "Helpful"

It was interesting experience. The teachers were very helpful and I got the chance there to meet new friends. However, it's little bit
challenging to perfect the language there if you stayed for short time because you are among other international students who are also learning as you, so you won't always know weather your sentences are right or wrong ! That's how I felt, but this might also be good to boost your confidence in speaking.

"Thanks to TIEP I was able to speak English in only one year."

When I first arrived in the United States, I couldn't communicate with people because my English was too basic for me to engage in conversation. In only one year studying at TIEP I improved my English significantly. The teachers are friendly and patient. The classes are mostly focused on English for academic purposes. This means that, after finishing the course, you will be prepared to enroll in a university or even face a job interview with confidence. The only critique I have of the program is that I would have liked to learn more informal English (conversational English) instead of mainly academic vocabulary. Other than that, my experience at TIEP was great and the program was extremely helpful.

"My English has improved a lot when I studied in TIEP"

I studied with many different people around the world so I had many chances to use English in the school. Teachers are very nice and friendly. They helped me how to speak and use grammar like Native American. Teachers gave me interesting activities outside such as picnic, visit museum or university.

"Hot time with Texas"

All the teachers were so kind to me. When I was in trouble, they helped me solve the problem. Of course, my English skills were improved. Especially when it comes to friends, I could talk to many kinds of people. I could live good times, which I have never lived.

Se sei uno studente a tempo pieno (più di 18 ore a settimana) negli Stati Uniti, riceverai il modulo I-20 che ti serve per presentarlo all'Ambasciata degli Stati Uniti assieme alla tua domanda di visto per studenti F-1. Il modello I-20 ha un codice di tracciamento SEVIS. Gli studenti che vorrebbero fare domanda di visto devono pagare la tariffa SEVIS online prima di recarsi dall'ambasciata o consolato per il colloquio del visto.

Il tuo I-20 sarà inviato al tuo indirizzo postale con posta ordinaria a carico del mittente. Se desideri ricevere i tuoi documenti con posta celere, ti sarà addebitato $60 quando ti registri.
