Scuola residenziale ai margini di un magnifico parco

La nostra scuola si trova in un moderno complesso di edifici ai margini di un magnifico parco. Il centro della città di Bad Schussenried si trova a 5 minuti a piedi. Il nostro centro è una scuola residenziale, cioè le aule si trovano all'interno dello stesso edificio dei dormitori degli studenti.

Strutture scolastiche moderne

Fornendo uno spazio dove possono vivere e studiare fino a 300 studenti provenienti da tutto il mondo, il Bad Schussenried è il più grande collegio in Germania in cui studiare il tedesco come lingua straniera. Le sale della scuola soddisfano gli standard più elevati, così come le sue incredibili infrastrutture: oltre a svolgere le tradizionali attività sportive e ricreative, gli studenti possono anche usufruire di una grande piscina al coperto, un campo da tennis interno e una parete da arrampicata.

Corsi intensivi Junior

In quasi tutti i nostri centri per adolescenti offriamo corsi intensivi di tedesco, con 25 lezioni a settimana. Le lezioni sono strutturate e progettate per gli studenti più giovani: sono interattive e divertenti ma, allo stesso tempo, molto efficaci.

I ragazzi hanno 5 lezioni da 45 minuti ogni mattina, a partire dalle 8.30 e fino alle 13:00, inclusi due intervalli.

Livelli linguistici

Offriamo fino a 7 diversi livelli linguistici, dal livello base a quello avanzato. Secondo il Quadro europeo di riferimento: livelli A1-C2.

Dimensione della classe

Le nostre classi sono formate da ca. 10 studenti. Queste dimensioni ridotte assicurano che ogni singolo partecipante riceva una grande attenzione individuale. Poiché ci concentriamo molto sull'approccio comunicativo della lingua, senza trascurare la grammatica, vogliamo che tutti gli studenti partecipino attivamente alla lezione.

Test

Tutti i partecipanti devono sostenere un esame settimanale su tutti gli argomenti della settimana precedente, in modo da valutare i progressi dello studente.

Compiti a casa

Ci si aspetta che i nostri studenti facciano dei compiti a casa ogni giorno, ma avranno sempre molto tempo per le attività extrascolastiche.

"It was ok but could have been more organized"

The classes were not so organized, teachers kept changing so was not so happy about it, location is good, activities could have been better. Housing was good but food options for vegetarian were very limited.

In Bad Schussenried I met a lot of people and I knew a lot of friends. With them I could speak different languages.
The teacher that I've got was absolutely fantastic, she spoke clearly German and the activities that we did were very adapt to our level. The material that she gave to us was clear and beneficial for our German.
The location of the college was great because was near a little lake and also near at the city center (like 5 minutes of walk). Also the housing was pretty cool because every week, the cleaning ladies cleaned our room and also the corridor that bring to our room.

"Es war zu früh für mein son"

Mein son hatte solches Heimweh, dass wir ihn nach einer Woche zurückholen mussten. Er hatte das Zimmer mit einem grösseren russischen Jungen zu teilen und das war keine gute Lösung.
Niemand hat sein Unbehagen bemerkt. Ich (sein Vater) glaube, dass die Schule schon OK ist, aber besser ab 15 oder 16 Jahren oder zusammen mit einem Freund. Manuel ist erst 13.

Our students stay in twin rooms directly on campus. All rooms have their own en-suite bathroom, as well as a balcony.

We carefully choose the students who will share a room with each other. We take care to match roommates who have a comparable German language level and are of similar age, yet speak different native languages. This way we encourage them to speak and practice German with each other outside of the classroom. Boys and girls are housed separately.

Our students receive three meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner).

Laundry service is offered daily to all students free of charge for their personal laundry. Bed linen and towels will be provided and changed regularly.

Please excuse my late reply.

Yes it is possible for a 13 year old junior to attend the teenager course with 30 lessons/week. Please note that he will be accommodated with other juniors and the same rules like for bed time or going to the village apply. For the period of July 10 - July 23 we are already fully booked. For all other dates we still have places available.

"Given that you devide children into groups of 10-13 and 14-17 does this means that younger children are not allowed to socialize with older ones or older with youngers?"

The students are divided into different classes (25 lessons per week for the younger students and 30 lessons per weeks for the older students). Also only students from the same age group are housed together. During leisure activities and excursions students from the different age groups can mingle. There is no strict separation. So friends and siblings from different age groups can meet outside classes.

"I am attending the Humboldt-Institut Bad Schussenried Language school in Bad Schussenried, Germany. I am curious about the rooms; I was wondering if they were all bunk beds, or if there are twin separate beds , pictures would be great of the inside of the living facility!"

In Bad Schussenried all rooms are twin-rooms with en-suite facilities. Most rooms are fitted with bunk beds. However some rooms also have separate beds. Please check the image gallery for images of the rooms.
