I corsi di inglese presso la BLS English sono disponibili durante tutto l'anno, ad eccezione di una pausa di due settimane nel periodo natalizio. Puoi iniziare a frequentare un corso ogni lunedì dell'anno, per un minimo di 2 settimane.

Prima del tuo arrivo o il tuo primo giorno di scuola, dovrai sostenere un test di lingua inglese che ci aiuterà a scegliere il corso adatto a te. Hai un motivo particolare per studiare la lingua? Un esame che ti piacerebbe sostenere ora o in futuro? Facci sapere e ti aiuteremo. Miriamo a fornirti un grande supporto dall'inizio alla fine.

Avrai compiti a casa ogni giorno e test di progresso settimanali, in modo da poter verificare i tuoi progressi e aiutarti a raggiungere i tuoi obiettivi.

Bury St Edmunds has played a very important part in English history; it was here that in 1214, Barons swore they would force King John to accept the Carter of Liberties, later known as the Magna Carta, one of the most important documents of Medieval England, and was a significant step towards the English democratic and legal systems of today. King Henry VIII’s sister, Mary, is buried in St Mary’s Church and the now ruined Abbey, with its magnificent gardens, was a shrine to Saint Edmund, King of the East Angles.

Bury has a striking combination of architecture, from medieval and elegant Georgian squares, a glorious Cathedral with it’s stunning Millenium Tower, magnificent gardens, alongside ultra modern facilities.

Bury St Edmunds has excellent shopping and a wonderful street market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Leisure facilities include a multiplex cinema complex, an “arts cinema”, theatres, newly designed leisure and fitness centre, great restaurants, pubs, and cafes, in addition to quaint old-world shops.

Bury St Edmunds has a population of about 45,000 and is on a direct train line and coach service to London.

Springfield House is a beautiful Victorian villa situated in the centre of the town with restaurants and local amenities minutes away. It was a former three-star guesthouse and provides comfortable and convenient accommodation. Our friendly BLS English staff member lives on site to welcome students on arrival, help
them settle in and resolve any problems they may have whilst staying in the house.

ACCOMMODATION
Springfield House is fully furnished and comprises 12 bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom facilities. There is a communal kitchen and large dining room. In addition, there are large private gardens leading to the car parking area and the other BLS English residence, Spring Lane Cottage. The property has individually controlled central heating in all rooms. Every room has its own handbasin, shower and WC. Six of the rooms have en-suite facilities. The others have private bathrooms situated close
to each room. There is Wi-Fi internet access in designated wi-fi zones.

CATERING
BLS English can provide all meals on site as requested. Hot or cold lunch options are possible. Meal times can also be flexible to allow for full day trips. BLS English has a maximum 5-star rating for food hygiene awarded by our local council.

FACILITIES
There is free ground-floor Wi-Fi, a TV and DVD player within the games room for students to share. There is access to a BBQ in the communal gardens and areas to sit and socialise outside. In summer students can play table tennis too.
